Essays from The Retirement Bank

These essays come from a longer work I am still learning how to write.

I began writing them after realizing that I had been living as if the day I retired might also be my last—and that, without naming it, I had been trying to leave nothing undone and nothing unlived. What started as a private inventory of moments slowly became a book.

Each essay here can be read on its own. None are meant to instruct or conclude. They are simply places where attention was paid long enough for something to settle.
